my experience was good as usual but I had requested that my drivers side window is very touchy, and for the tech to look at it. I can't get the window to stop where I want it, it was not looked at when it was in for the service, I was told that I that they would take my truck back in and would have to wait longer for my truck, but we had planned other errands and had no more time.

I had to take my car in because when I bought it, they only had one key and didn't have anybody there to wash it. They got the extra key and told me if I would bring it in one day, they would give me a car to drive to work. I didn't ask for a car they offered the car to me. The car they gave me to drive to work had no gas in it, so I called Mike Clardy the sales manager just to let me know. His response to me was if you were driving your car to work this morning you would have to put gas in it. So, what do you want me to do about it. I have never had someone at a car dealership handle a situation so poorly. I work in healthcare and have to deal with the public all the time and I would never talk to them the way he talked to me that morning. I will never buy another car from palmetto chevrolet and I may never buy another chevrolet period after the way I was treated that day.

Appointment was at 8 am and they had the truck done by 930 also pleasant staff.I had my truck serviced in Phoenix az back in march it was a huge dealership my appointment was for 10 Am, when I got there they told me there was a 3 hour wait because they were backed up .Thank you palmentto chevy got there I was told there will be a 3 hour wait .

Didnât have to wait terribly long to speak with representative. Check in process was quick. I didnât have to wait long either to have vehicle looked at. However, I brought vehicle in to have a feature (adaptive cruise control) looked at for not working, only to discover the car didnât have that feature. I believe this is something that the representative that I met with the week earlier when I set my appointment could have informed me of, especially because she logged my VIN number and should have been able to see everything about the vehicle. Essentially wasted a trip but at least tech confirmed the vehicle had the latest version software.

Great from beginning to end! Everything was fair and honest, trade in values and my pricing were explained and carried through without the bait and switch in the Sales Managerâs office so common at many other dealers. I asked to check the tread depth on my tires and I didnât see any info on my bill and nothing stating on the right up to check. Also if you offer a 27 point check you should give the customer a copy of it, they did at the last dealership I always went to. I donât feel you should have to request it. All and all itâs a good service center, service writers are very nice

It was a quick and easy process. We test drove it around 5:30 PM and asked them to hold it for us until we could get everything squared away with the bank and they did. As things started rolling with the bank, things started rolling with the dealership. Hal was very good and asked for information in advance and had all the paperwork ready when we arrived at the dealership. He emailed me documents the bank would need prior to the bank asking for them. The vehicle was cleaned up and fueled when we arrived. We were at the dealership for less than an hour finalizing the sale. It was a great experience.

Overall, an outstanding experience. Customer service was prompt and courteous. The only issue, and it was super minor, was the paper, disposable mat that was placed on my driver side was incredibly dirty. Albeit, it was to be thrown away, wish it would have been cleaner before putting my shoes on it.

I was excited to take my car to Palmetto Chevrolet, as Iâve heard positive things. When I made my appointment (a week prior to the date), I explained everything that needed to be done with my car. I spoke with a woman who had a foreign accent and told her I needed the oil changed, a sensor checked, and my windshield wipers checked because the intermittent setting isnât working. When I arrived, I worked with Tiffany. Tiffany told me that they only had time to change my oil. I explained the other issues to her and she said those were not recorded when I made the appointment, but they would try to work me in. She advised me to have someone pick me up, which I wasnât prepared for and didnât have the ability to do. My appointment time was 10:00. At 11:30, my vehicle was taken to the technician, and Tiffany said he would start after he returned from lunch. At around 1:30, Tiffany came to me and said I needed new brake pads and rotors. She also said there was nothing wrong with my wipers. (Side note: my intermittent wipers still do not work!) After checking with my usual mechanic, the prices were close to the quote Tiffany gave for brake pads and rotors. I specifically asked her if that price was for brake pads and rotors, and she said yes. Plus, she said I would have to pay for the labor already completed if I didnât stay and let them do the work. At 3:00, Tiffany came and said they there would be an additional $509 because the price she originally gave me ($415) did not include new rotors but only resurfaced ones. She said I would have to pay $509 on top of the $415, which I literally could not afford. I spoke with Chris, who was truly the only positive of my experience at Palmetto Chevrolet. He agreed to have them put my car back together as it was when I came in, and I would just pay for the oil change and go. I didnât leave until after 4:00 pm. Unfortunately, they did not put my car back together as it was when I came in. They didnât reset the computer codes, so the car threw brake failure, ABS failure, and ESC errors the whole way home, making my car only drive up to 42 mph. I had to drive it this way all the way back to Loris. Because of the condition my car was left in by Palmetto Chevrolet, we had to take my car somewhere else immediately to get new brake pads and rotors. The car was worked on until after midnight, making it a 14 hour process. Other than Chris, I had a horrible experience at Palmetto Chevrolet and will not be returning. The ladies at the service desk need some serious customer service training. They need to be able to explain things better to customers. I felt like they were just trying to take me for every penny I have and dont have. For example, they told me my front brakes and rotors were so bad it was a safety concern. This was after the young technician who changed my oil stated to me that the brakes were okay and didnât need replacing. I mentioned this to Tiffany when she said the brakes needed changing and she said âheâs new. He doesnât knowâ. Then, the mechanic told me that the front needed to be changed immediately, but I had a few months left on the back. Later that evening, as the brakes and rotors were being changed, the back were in much worse shape than the front. This was an unbelievably poor experience that I hope the majority of your customers donât have.

I know very little about automobiles. I depend on the service department to take care of my car and let me know what is needed. I trust that they do what is needed and nothing that isnât. My 2024 Equinox with 4700 miles on it shut off at Walmart while I was pulling into a pickup spot. It would spin and spin but would not re-start. I called Palmetto Chev., told the service dept. what had happened. A tow truck was sent to tow me in promptly. The tow driver told me what was most likely wrong, and if the part needed was in stock that it wouldn't take very long to get me back on the grocery pickup road! The parts dept. had the correct part; it was soon installed as I waited in the cool showroom area (it was over 90 degrees outside!) and I was back rolling in about 3 hours total time! Palmetto Chevy came thru and that's why I like to do business with them. My first new vehicle (a SWB pickup) was bought there in 1971 and I have been back there many times over the years! As they say in their ads, "we'll be there"!!!

This complaint is more about the vehicle than the dealership. The dealership is the best around and I will keep going back to buy new vehicles. My issue is after repeated attempts my vehicle is still giving me error messages after money was spent. I will take my vehicle back after I get back from vacation on the 8th. I needed a new set of tires for my 2016 Silverado. I checked prices at 2 other vendors and then checked with Palmetto Chevrolet Tire Shop. Palmetto Chevrolet, once again, as they had saved me some money on the first set of tires I bought from them. I talked with Jennifer about pricing and tires. She was very knowledgeable and with her knowledge, she helped me about replacing my spare tire as it was 10 years old and not safe to use anymore. This left me without transportation for myself and my children, forcing me to borrow a vehicle from friends and family. Communication was a significant challenge. Many of my calls went unanswered or unreturned. When I inquired about a loaner vehicle, I was told several times that none were available. On a few occasions, I was told someone would try to find one and call me back, but those follow-ups never happened. Considering my vehicle is a 2024 model under warranty with only 30,000 miles, this was very frustrating. Additionally, given that the issue with my vehicleâa valve body replacementâis a fairly common one, I would have expected the dealership to be more accommodating in providing a loaner or courtesy vehicle at no cost. When a vehicle is still under warranty, customers should not be left without transportation for such an extended period. It wasnât until I called again on Fridayâafter noticing my vehicle had finally been movedâthat I was informed a diagnosis had been made and that a valve body replacement was needed. I was told the repair would take about a week and a half. Even after that, I had to continue following up to get updates. Eventually, after my husband spoke with Stanley (who was very kind and helpful), we learned the vehicle would be ready the next day. Iâm sharing this because I believe improving communication and follow-up with customers would make a huge difference. I completely understand that your team is busy, but timely updates and greater consideration for customers who are without transportationâespecially when the vehicle is under warrantyâwould go a long way. Thank you again for your time and for completing the repair. I hope my feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

After waiting 2 weeks for a service appointment. I left my car at 930am to get the tire pressure sensor checked because the light on the display said that the tire was out of air, but it was not flat.and the gas cap dor was not staying closed. I went back to pick up my car at 4pm and the gas cap door has to be ordered so I have to wait 2 more weeks. The tire pressure sensor was still on my display and not fixed. The service rep asked could I wait around for them to fix it after I have been waiting for 7 hours. After waiting another hour they found a nail in the tire and patched the hole. Gas cap flap still not fixed. Not so GREAT service.

Everything went well, except that I asked to have my truckâs tire pressure balanced and it didnât get done. I asked twice and was reassured it would be done but in the end it wasnât done. Other than that, great customer service and the truck runs better after the service. Iâd rate 5 stars if they had fixed the tire pressure.
